Land Clearing in Huntsville & Madison County

Huntsville is one of the fastest-growing metros in the Southeast, and Cummings Research Park's expansion keeps pulling new rooftops into every direction of the compass. Somebody has to take the trees off the lot first. Whether it's a single homesite or a multi-acre pad, we clear to your builder's spec — selectively where it matters, aggressively where it doesn't.

The Two Kinds of Clearing Jobs

How We Work a Lot

Site walk first, always. We flag everything over 8 inches DBH (diameter at breast height) with you on-site: stays, goes, your call. Pines with any marketable trunk go out as logs rather than chips when volume justifies it — that credit comes off your invoice. Underbrush and small stems go through the mulcher and stay on-site as erosion control, which Madison County's red clay genuinely needs during the wet season. Stumps in the building footprint get ground below grade; perimeter stumps can be left if you're keeping a treeline, at your instruction.

Access planning matters more than machinery. New subdivision lots in Harvest often sit on cul-de-sacs that won't take heavy equipment; we'll work a mulcher in from the street edge or time equipment moves for the grading window. Wet-weather scheduling is the other North Alabama reality — red clay that's fine in October is a rutted mess in March, and we plan accordingly rather than promise dates we can't keep.

🏗️ Builder coordination: we regularly hand lots directly to site crews and can match your builder's grade stakes, erosion-control plan, and required clear-and-grub line. Tell us who your builder is and we'll align before we cut.

Where We Clear

The active corridors: Harvest and the north Madison County subdivisions, Madison's westward growth along County Line and Wall Triana, the Owens Cross Roads / Hampton Cove edge along US-431, and commercial pads around Cummings Research Park and the airport corridor. If your lot's further out — New Market, Toney, the Meridianville flats — we'll come look; mobilization is a bigger share of the bid but never a surprise in it.
